Wallace Stevens, The Snow Man

This poem reminds me of much I really do not like winter. I do not hate winter but I just wish it would be a shorter season. The poet mentions how empty and colorless winter can be. How there is a few leaves on the trees and plain white snow everywhere. This kind of reminds me of the book The Road and how there was gray slush and dead trees everywhere. I like spring and summer because of the variety of colors you see. In winter everything is held back and hidden and not much is shown at all. So this poem at least to me, defiantly reminds me of how I really do not like winter at all. It seems like the poet does not like winter very much at all either.
