Besides all the pride that this poem shows, there isn't anything particularly interesting about it for me. Quite honestly, poems like these are just a bunch of blah, blah, blah for a person reading it who is not from Chicago. I would love to read a poem about my hometown but when it's about a place I've never been to before I don't really care.
