It's so true! It was the slaves who made America! If it weren't for them, we wouldn't be where we are right now. This country would be primitive, sad, ancient, and undeveloped. I find the poem so amazingly powerful that I can't pick a favorite part so if I could choose any three words to describe it they would be truthful, depressing, and amazing.
