This story was nuts! I had no idea what was going to happen! Just from the tittle and the way they describe the setting and get the imagery of this whole town coming together, I thought it was going to be something positive. When you think of the lottery the first thing that pops into your head is winning great prizes or trips and getting something that everyone else wants. But no, instead you get stoned to death! I was so confused and disgusted with the ending. Especially because even her youngest child threw a rock at her!
