Sound of a Voice was a sad story, I felt so bad for the woman. She was so alone and empty feeling. This man was her last hope at love and happiness. It goes to show you that some people live their lives alone and unhappy and their paths never cross someone who they can share their lives with. The tone of the story was hopeful for a few paragraphs, I thought that he would have stayed with her because he was lonely too. What a tragedy that this woman took her own life because she couldn’t bear another lonely day.
I totally agree with you Lisa. I think this is a great example of what used to happen in those times and still happens to this day, women getting rejected because they are too old. What really disgust me was the way everyone treated this woman.
